Qualifications:

- We are in need of great people with skills to setup and run our outdoor movie events!

- We are hiring part-time Movie Host Technicians for our outdoor movie events that we set up for our customers.

- We need hard working, self-motivated people with a passion for movies, that can deliver, setup and run our outdoor movie events.

- Having a truck or ability to pull a trailer is a plus, but not a requirement.

We are seeking RELIABLE, well groomed, customer oriented, friendly people that want to have fun but also understands that customer service and a quality product comes first and foremost with our customers. You must be professional, friendly, outgoing and able to communicate effectively with our customers.

Event Responsibilities

- Courtesy Call - call the customer the day of the event and confirm any last-minute

details between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

- Delivery and Setup of all equipment at customer location.

- Pre-Event Activities such as media changes, announcements, playing commercials

and/or advertising, taking pictures, playing music, etc.

- Teardown, pack up & return of all equipment to our FunFlicks warehouse or storage

area.

- Complete a 5-minute Event Survey / Invoice at the end of night.

Event Duration

- A FunFlicks event averages 4.5 - 5 hours onsite.

- Arrive 2 hours prior to show time as indicated on event assignment.

- Setup should be complete 60 minutes prior to event start time.

- Movie Times are 1.5 - 2.5 hours (Pre-show entertainment, Movie, etc).

- Tear down takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Will I have a fixed schedule

No. You can accept or decline shift invitations based on your availability.

Can I have a day job and work for FunFlicks

Yes! Most of the people that work for us have a day job. Because our events only start after sunset, there is usually plenty of time to get off work and head towards an event for setup.

What is the pay structure?

Pay ranges based on screen size. The effective rate of pay for a 5 hour shift is $40 per hour. Refer to the Job Description PDF for a full breakdown of pay.

You can make anywhere from $1,000 - $3,000 per month with just a few hours of work per week.

Do I need to have a vehicle?

Yes. You will be required to go to the warehouse, load up the equipment in your car and take it to the customer location for setup.

For most 16' & 21' events a regular sized sedan is just fine. For larger screens, a Truck or vehicle with a tow hitch may be required although not always necessary.

Do I need to be an Audio-Video expert?

Absolutely not. We will provide you with all the training you need. As long as you are able to lift 50 lbs and can do basic things like operate a simple DVD player, you are perfect for the job.

What is the dress code?

We work with a variety of customers and always want to present ourselves in the most professional way possible. You as the representative of our business are required to wear our FunFlicks branded shirt onsite. Our work environment encourages employees to dress comfortably, Jeans or Khaki pants are preferred, however shorts of appropriate length may be worn, and a sturdy pair of closed-toe shoes.
